Industrial Engineer from the UPC, all his career has been in the energy sector. He first joined GAS NATURAL S.A. in 1971 as Project engineer, then as Maintenance Director of the Barcelona gas plant until 1980. From 1981 until 2000 he was the General Director of the industry, Commerce and Tourism Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In 2000 he returns to the GN Group as Director of Security, Technical Quality and later of Suppliers Management for Gas Natural, SDG, S.A. until 2010. He has been a member of many company Boards such as CIDEM (Information and Company Development Center), of LGAIN ( General Investigation and Trial Laboratory) of the ICF ( Catalan Institute of Finances), of PETROCAT (Petroleums of Catalunya), of MARCOGAZ with head office in Brussels, of the private equity company Catalana de Capital Risc, S.A, of the management Board of AENOR (Spanish Normalization Association) and of SEDIGAS.
